Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Contact details you submit (email address, name if provided).
Strategy submissions — the idea descriptions and parameters you send us for testing.
Build Strategy conversations — everything you type into Build Strategy and every reply the assistant gives (questions, restatements, refusals, drafted specifications), together with the model used and token counts. We store this so we can show and support your work, measure our costs, improve the service and investigate abuse.
Journal entries — trades you type or import into the Journal. These figures are yours, are not audited by us, and you can export or delete your journal from within the app.
Payment data — handled by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe); we never see or store full card numbers.
Usage analytics — aggregate page analytics (visits, referrers, device class). We do not run cross-site advertising trackers.
Campaign source — first-party campaign-source parameters (such as utm_source and utm_content) and the referring site, kept in your browser for up to 30 days and stored against your account or order request, to measure our marketing.
Correspondence — emails and form messages you send us.

2. How we use it

To provide the service: run your tests, deliver Reports, respond to you.
To operate the business: billing, support, fraud prevention, service improvement.
To send you service emails (your reports, receipts) and, if you joined the waitlist, product updates. Unsubscribe anytime.
To produce aggregated, anonymized statistics (e.g., "72% of momentum ideas fail testing"). These never identify you or reveal your strategy.

3. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data.
We do not share your strategy details with other users or third parties, except processors below or where required by law.
We do not trade user-submitted strategies for our own account.

4. Processors we use

Hosting and analytics (Vercel), our database (Neon), payments (Stripe), transactional email (Resend), our compute servers used to run tests, and our AI model provider (Anthropic), which receives the text you type into Build Strategy in order to turn it into a test specification. Each processes data only to provide their service to us, and some are located outside Singapore.

5. Retention

Contact and account data: while your account or waitlist entry is active, then up to 24 months. Strategy submissions, Build Strategy conversations and Reports: retained while your account is active and for up to 24 months afterwards so we can support you, honor refunds, measure costs and investigate abuse; deleted earlier on verified request. Payment records: as required by law.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including Singapore's PDPA and, where applicable, GDPR), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email support@quantassay.com; we'll respond within 30 days.

7. Data Protection Officer

In accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, QuantAssay has appointed a Data Protection Officer responsible for ensuring compliance with the PDPA.

Address any question, access or correction request, or complaint about how your personal data is handled to the DPO at the address above. We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days and respond substantively within 30 days.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls). No system is perfectly secure; use strong unique credentials and treat email as sensitive.

9. Children

The service is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes

We'll post updates here with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged on the site or by email.
